foodies

a few weeks ago our friend's ty and rachael were in town from jacksonville, fl. they were able to pay us a visit before they headed back to florida. benji and i threw on our aprons, fired up the grill and whipped up a dinner for all of us which consisted of steaks, salad with homemade blue cheese vinaigrette and rosmary garlic roasted potatoes (these have become a staple for me and my dinner planning). i used a recipe from real simple and put my own twist on it. i thought the salad seemed a little dry with the addition of the potatoes so i made them seperately and spiced them myself. bon appetit!
